The Miller Program for the month of April will feature the Amish people and elements of their lifestyle.  A variety of topics including history, religious beliefs, language, family life, occupations, clothing, health and healing will be discussed.  Don and Diane Kramer will share extensive knowledge of “Our Neighbors, the Amish.”  A brief intermission will allow guests to try authentic Amish treats of cookies and breads.

The Kramers currently live near Dyersville, Iowa.  Both are retired teachers from schools in Grundy Center and Manchester.  They are enjoying a simplistic life and volunteering in their free time.  Their home is surrounded by three Amish communities.  Come join us and learn more about the humble, kind, and intriguing Amish people.
