Blue Bird Recovery Program is the Miller’s Program

Event Details

Volunteer millers of de Immigrant Windmill will be sponsoring a presentation featuring the history of the Eastern Bluebird and recovery from a decline in the United States.  Representatives Dick Bach, Barbara Baird, and Joan Harmet from the Jo Daviess County Conservation Foundation will present facts and statistics about the bluebirds and red-headed woodpeckers here and now.  Both species are now seen widely in our area.   They will also share predictions of the future for these cavity nesters.
