McEleney Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Toyota is proud to sponsor Clinton High’s 2015 fall Homecoming.  Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2015.  Clinton High will host the Davenport West Falcons.  The Clinton High Student Council have planned a wonderful week of homecoming activities in which we would like to invite all alumni, families, community members and friends to celebrate with us.  Clinton High and the community of Clinton are proud of its traditions and pride for our school, activity programs, students and alumni.  Community Homecoming activities for the week include:  coronation, parade, pep rally and homecoming breakfast.  The theme for homecoming, as selected by the Student Council is “The Royal Network.”  Coronation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Yourd Gymnasium.  Patrons are asked to enter and check in at the main office of the high school before attending.  The homecoming parade will be Thursday, October 8, 2015.  The parade will begin at 5:30 in front of the high school and follow a route from 9th Street to 5th Avenue South, and 5th Avenue South to 3rd Street.  The parade will be dismantled near the fire station by 4th Avenue and 3rd Street.  The community pep rally will take place at Coan Field and follow the homecoming parade.  Activities for the pep rally include:  youth football skills competition, powder puff football game for juniors and seniors, and the lighting of the CHS letters.  The homecoming breakfast will take place in the high school commons from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015.  Breakfast tickets are $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the door.  The celebration will conclude with CHS taking on the Davenport West Falcons starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015.  Admission to the game is $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.  For more information about this year’s homecoming or activities, please contact the high school office at 563-243-7540.
