Combined Puppy Kindergarten and Dog Obedience Class – pre-registration required by October 19th

The Clinton Parks and Recreation  is accepting registrations for the programs running from October 26 thru December 7.  The classes will be divided into two sections by instructors and each class will be in a different section of the Riverview Pool area.  Classes are on Thursdays 6:30 to 7:30 pm.  A training collar and leash are required.

Puppy Kindergarten is a six week course for puppies twelve weeks to five months of age. Your puppy will be introduced to a collar and leash, learn controlled walking, sit/stay, come and approaching other dogs. When the class is completed, your puppy receives a diploma for his or her accomplishments. Proof of vaccinations are required upon registration. A six foot nylon or leather leash is required – collars will be discussed at the first class.

Dog Obedience is a six week course for dogs six months and older.  Your dog will learn introductory commands, accepting strangers, adapting to new situations, treating good behavior and turns. When the class is completed, your dog receives a diploma for his or her accomplishments. Proof of vaccinations are required upon registration. A six foot nylon or leather leash is required – collars will be discussed at the first class.
