Fulton’s Annual Plant Sale

Event Details

As you survey your flower and perennial gardens, please keep the Fulton plant sale in mind.  The annual plant sale is Saturday, May 14, 2015, from 8am to Noon at the Robert Fulton Community Center (former fire station).  Are some of your plants too crowded and need to be split?  Do you have a plant that you just don’t like anymore?  Bring them to the sale and we will find a new home for them.  Plants can be brought in plastic pots, plastic bags, or card board flats.  If you need advice on digging up plants, please contact Judy at 815-589-4101.  Plants may be brought to the community center on Friday, May 13, from 1pm to 7pm.    The plant sale is organized by Friends of the Windmill.  There will be University of Illinois Master Gardeners available on site the day of the sale to answer any questions you may have concerning the plants or gardening techniques.  All proceeds from the sale will be distributed through the Friends of the Windmill for the beautification of the Windmill Area.
