Wander, if you dare, through the haunted Timber Lake. Timber Lake Playhouse will offer A Haunted Experience for three Saturday nights in October. The Experience will include a Haunted House, and Escape Room and a Screening of the cult classic movie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The Haunted House runs Saturdays in October from 6:30 – 10:00. There are two buildings of haunted rooms and haunted trails. Tickets for the Haunted House are $10 ($8 if purchased online prior to the event).
Do you like solving puzzles? Try the TLP Horror Escape Room. Teams of 6 must solve the puzzle to “escape” from the haunted cabin. Three escape experiences available per night – must be pre-registered. The cost for the escape room is $60 per team and must be purchased online prior to the event.
There will be a special screening of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW on September 28 at 9:00. Costumed actors will lead movie-goers in RHPS Call-backs. Costume and Dance Contests will be held before the movie. Prop Bags are available for pre-purchase. Movie tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the door. Interactive Prop Bags are available for pre-purchase for $10.
Tickets for all events can be purchased online at www.timberlakeplayhouse.org. The Timber Lake Playhouse Box Office is now closed for the off season. Snacks, drinks, and light up novelties will be for sale. The playhouse is located at 8215 Black Oak Road in rural Mount Carroll.
