Eating more vegetables is one of the most important things you can do for you health. Learning to cook and prepare vegetables using delicious recipes is a great way to get your family eating healthier. On Thursday, May 16th Vera Stokes of Iowa State University and Outreach will be offering a free cooking demonstration at the Clinton Public Library’s Main Avenue branch from 12:15-12:45 p.m. The Clinton Public Library’s Main Avenue branch is located at 105 Main Avenue in Clinton. The class is free and open to the public.

Participants will learn how to select and store fresh vegetables and prepare a tasty recipe. The class is being offered as part of the Let’s Live Healthy, Clinton Area Initiative.
