Event Description:
Discover our Mississippi River every Saturday in the summer. Sign up today to experience three Gateway attractions for FREE thanks to a sponsorship from the Curtis-Armstrong Foundation. You will tour the following sites in a series with your assigned group:
1. Fulton Windmill & Cultural Center: Explore the windmill and discover the Dutch roots of Fulton
2. Blue Heron River Cruise: Explore the Mississippi River and Lock & Dam 13. There will be an attempt to go through the Lock & Dam. The Heron launches from the 25th Avenue boat dock.
3. The Sawmill Museum: The river transported the logs needed to make Clinton a lumber capital. Live vintage sawing will occur with each tour.

You will be broken into groups of 24, and each group of 24 will visit all three sites in a series. Each site will last roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes with 15 minutes transition time. For example, one group will start at the Blue Heron Noon – 1:15 pm, go to the Windmill from 1:30 – 2:45, and then finish at The Sawmill from 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm. At this time, transportation will be provided to bus guests from The Sawmill Museum to the Fulton Windmill & Cultural Center.

You have to preregister to take the tour due to limited availability.
