The musical sounds of The Connection will fill the large auditorium, transformed with round tables, flowers, and candlelight.  “Celebrity Waiters” will serve creative, delicious appetizers and desserts while a cash bar, set up by the Brick Block Pub, will feature craft beers, wine and a specialty drink of the night.  In attendance will also be many of the artists featured at the Loft.

While enjoying the cocktail party-like atmosphere, throughout the evening there will be several ways for all guests to donate to the Loft fundraiser.  A Silent Auction featuring jewelry, pottery, notecards, colored glass, and woodworking from the Loft will be offered for bids, with the highest bid winning at the end of the evening. Secondly, Interspersed in the evening’s agenda will also be a live auction of twelve to eighteen pieces of art donated by the Loft’s artists.

Lastly, upon entering the foyer, there will be envelopes numbered with a requested dollar donation.  Each envelope will also represent a puzzle piece. An original mystery artwork will be projected onto the MIT stage.  As guests begin to turn in the envelops with their donations, corresponding puzzle pieces will be removed to reveal the hidden artwork; thus, “BUILDING THE BIG PICTURE”.  The original piece of art will then be auctioned off at the end of the evening!

A cashier will take payment for all purchased art either with credit card, check or cash.  Don’t miss out on this creative Art-filled event that will help support The Loft’s goals, and assist in a scholarship, each semester, to an art or music class at the Loft.
