Morrison’s Loft 112 Gala Fundraiser’s date is Saturday evening, October 20. This night of fun, entertainment, good food, and art will be held at the Morrison Institute of Technology’s Auditorium from 7:00-10:00 PM. Ticket sales begin on Saturday, September 1st and may be purchased at Loft 112, which is open Thursdays 10-2 and Fridays and Saturdays 10-4. Tickets may also be bought at Fitzgerald’s Drugstore in Morrison, which is open daily. Ticket prices are $25 for single admission and $40 per couple.
The evening will feature the music of The Connection, formerly the Ukulele Connection. Armed with ukuleles, guitars, a harmonica tuba, The Connection’s wide variety of music is a crowd pleaser. Plus, the vocal harmonies of the three musicians, Aaron Johnson, Paul Engwall, and Jim Roeder are smooth.
A cash bar from the Brick Block Pub of Morrison, a multitude of tasty appetizers and yummy desserts will add to the evening festivities.
To top off the evening, There will be an unveiling of a Guest Artist and his creation of a commissioned piece of art for the Gala.
