CHS Honored in national ranking (link included to report & interview with CHS Principal on the ward))

Clinton High School earned a Bronze Medal Ranking in a recent U-S News and World Report study of High Schools across the country. This is the second year in a row the school has been awarded a bronze medal in the rankings.

In Iowa, no schools received the gold medal ranking and 16 received silver medal rankings. That ranked 41st with 4.7%  percent of schools in the state honored. The Bronze ranking was not considered for that portion of the comparison.

C-H-S Principal J-R Kuch says it’s a testament to the hard of the staff and kids and shows ‘we’re doing some of the things in the right way.” Kuch believes the ranking shows things are moving in the right direction at Clinton High School. He said it we’re getting recognized for the work to get all kids to the level of profencies.
Kuch said they will always look to improve-whether or not they would have received the honor from the U-S News and World Report publication. The CHS Principal says ‘we want to be the best high school in the state of Iowa.”
The Clinton High School Principal says the honor is treated as a celebration.
