Tuesday will be the meeting day for the Clinton City Council.
Among the actions for the council is an increase in the garbage pickup rates. The council approved the increase at last week’s committee of the whole session to address a deficit in the fund and establish an equipment replacement fund. The proposal is for a rate of 19-dollars&*and*65 cents per month. That’s an increase from the current 15 dollars and 89 cents.
On the consent agenda is action to receive, approve and place on file the certified list of Police Chief Candidates. That list will be available to the council on Monday.

During the committee of the whole session the council will be asked to provide directions on cleaning and potential demolition of some equipment that’s not needed at the old water treatment plant. The council rejected the bids twice for cleaning the equipment.

The council meeting will start at 7 P-M at Clinton City Hall.
