May unemployment rates

The unemployment rate in Clinton and Clinton County dropped from April to May. In both statistics there were fewer people considered unemployed and fewer in the workforce. (links to maps included)

The county-wide unemployment rate went from 4.8% to 4.7%.
In the city the rate dropped from 5.3% to 5.2%.

County wide the number considered employed in May was 23,330 and that was a drop of 150 from April. The number considered unemployed dropped by 40 to 1,140 in May.
