Clinton Police confirm they have a report of shots fired at a local person.

Interim Clinton Police Chief Tom Bohle says the department has one report from Thursday afternoon – July 23rd about a person being shot with a pellet gun.

Bohle says the report is incomplete at this time and didn’t have many of the specifics.

An incident with a person being injured by suspects firing a pellet gun in Clinton has been a topic on Facebook with details and description of a suspect vehicle.
The interim Police Chief says the Clinton Police Department takes these reports seriously and any information leading to the identity of the suspect or suspects will be accepted. Bohle asks that if anyone observes persons discharging a weapon, whether it be real or a BB or Pellet gun, that the police asked that for your safety you observe and report the incident but don’t confront the person or persons.
