On Monday-the Fulton City Council has a regular meeting. The session will start at 5 at the City Hall.
The council will reconsider having a student intern work in the community. In the spring the council said ‘no’ to the program from Western Illinois University due to a ten-thousand dollars cost. It’s noted for the meeting that W-I-U received new grant funding and the internship can be offered to Fulton for 5-thousand dollars. The internship is for eleven months. The intern would live in Fulton and work 37-and-a-half hours a week. The students are completing their final year of graduate studies at W-I-U.

Under the proposal the city funding would be split between two fiscal years.

Monday is also the meeting day for the Camanche School Board.
Part of the meeting will be the re-organizational meeting with members elected at the recent vote taking office and a school board president elected.

The Riverbend School Board is meeting Monday.
Among the reports to the board is a sixth day enrollment update showing twelve more students than last year at the report.
The meeting will be at 6:30 at the Riverbend Administrative Office in Fulton, Illinois.

The Clinton County Board has their meeting on Tuesday morning this week.
The Supervisors will attend the Low Moor Lions Club meeting at 6 A-M at the Low Moor Community Center.
The Board will have a business meeting at 7 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Low Moor Community Center.

The Clinton City Council could make a settlement in a legal dispute over unpaid sewer fees from the Miller Ridge Apartment complex.
On the agenda is a proposed settlement with the Layton State Bank-the current owners of the apartment complex. The settlement is for the bank to pay the city 500-thousand dollars and the city would release the outstanding special assessment filed against the property.

During the Committee Of Whole session the council will review the water shut-off policy for potential changes. Some issues have developed since the program started, especially concerning the section that prevents a payment plan for a customer once a shut off notice is mailed out.
Calendar parking for the winter is also a topic on the agenda.

The Clinton City Council meets at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening.
