Clinton Mayoral runoff election needed December 1st

With the unofficial results completed there will be runoff for the Clinton mayor’s position.  Incumbent Mark Vulich received 1,293 votes and Jennifer Graf received 1,120 and Ed O’Neill got 742 votes.

With Clinton being a runoff city there is a formula to determine the a minimum to be elected.  With 3,155 votes cast in the mayor’s race a candidate needed a minimum of 1,579 votes to win.  None of the three candidates received that total meaning a run off December 1st between Graf and Vulich.
