Clinton Mayoral Runoff Election Absentee Voting Begins at Clinton County Auditor’s Office

Clinton County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Eric Van Lancker has announced that absentee ballots for the December 1, 2015, Clinton Mayoral Runoff Election are available in the Clinton County Auditor’s Office starting Friday, November 13, 2015. ‘Read more’ for the statement from the Elections Commissioner’s Office

Absentee ballots may be cast in the Clinton County Auditor’s Office at the Clinton County Administration Building, 1900 N. 3rd St., Clinton, IA, during regular office hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through November 30, 2015. However, voters will need to take notice that Clinton County Offices, including the Auditor’s Office, are closed November 26-27, 2015, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Absentee ballots must be requested in writing. Request forms are available at the Auditor’s Office, on the Clinton County Web site at www.clintoncounty-ia.gov and at the Iowa Secretary of State’s Web site at http://sos.iowa.gov/. Ballots requested through the mail must be returned and postmarked by midnight, November 30, 2015. Ballots may also be hand-delivered to the Auditor’s Office before 8 p.m. on December 1, 2015.

All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received by the Auditor’s Office by 5 p.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
