CCC Alumni Association recognizes Student Leaders

Twenty three Clinton Community College student leaders were recognized by the CCC Alumni Association at the annual Student Leader Luncheon.

These students were nominated by the CCC staff and faculty for showing leadership in the classroom, on campus and in the community.

Clinton Regional Development Corporation Existing Industry Manager and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach Andy Sokolovich was the Keynote Speaker for the annual event, presenting his views on Leadership to the group of students, family members and their nominators.  Sokolovich spent years in the Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller before starting his won business, Bent Business Marketing.  An active leader in the community, Andy challenged the students to be aware of their own strengths and to develop those strengths as they move towards a career.  In addition, Andy encouraged the group to seek as role models people who magnify their own strengths.

Clinton Community College Dean of Students Lisa Miller welcomed those in attendance, and shared her vision of leadership.  CCC Alumni Association president Kris Hingstrum encouraged graduates to join the Alumni Association, and introduced the speaker.  CCC Dean of the College Ron Serpliss recognized each student leader.
