Some street work may change your driving plans-plus in another announcement from city hall you can see the holiday week garbage pickup schedule.
Due to culvert replacements, Main Avenue, from North 3rd Street to Mill Creek Parkway, will be closed.
This road closure will begin Wednesday, June 1, 2016, and will last through Thursday, September 1, 2016.
This road will be closed to all through traffic. Only local traffic will be permitted.
The detour for truck traffic and through traffic will be Highway 30. The detour for local traffic will be 13th Avenue North. Detour signs will be posted.

Due to road repairs, traffic will be reduced to one lane of eastbound traffic and one lane of westbound traffic at the intersection of 13th Avenue North and North 4th Street.
Also, traffic will be reduced to one southbound lane of North 4th Street beginning at 13th Avenue North.
These lane closures will last through Friday, June 10, 2016.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, solid waste/recycling collection will be delayed during the week of May 30th through June 3rd.
With the Memorial Holiday on Monday – that day’s route will be collected on Tuesday, May 31st.
Tuesday route will be collected on Wednesday, June 1st and then Wednesday’s route will be collected on Thursday, June 2nd with Thursday’s route will be collected on Friday, June 3rd and Friday’s route collected on Saturday, June 4th
