Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

The tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week includes the County Board, Clinton City Council, Camanche City Council & Central DeWitt School Board-links included to the agendas for the meetings.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning meeting.  The business session starts at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Fulton City council will be MEETING MONDAY at the Fulton city hall at 5:30.

The Clinton City Council meets Tuesday in their first Tuesday of the month Committee Of The Whole session.

The council will consider adding a part-time Nuisance Inspector.  The notes for the council state the position would be used from July 1st to September 30th and mentions working on the issue of nuisance issues related to tall grass and weed complaints.

The council will also consider gaining control of a few properties through tax certificates with the city.  Those properties could then be sold by the city.  The properties in questioned are maintained by the city as nuisance properties.

The council session is at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening at city hall.

The Camanche City Council will be meeting on Tuesday evening.

Among the items for discussion is a consideration to replace the City Administrator.  Current City Administrator Tom Roth has submitted his retirement letter to the council.

The Central DeWitt School Board will meet on Wednesday for a regular meeting.
Contracts with the various employee groups will be consider for approval.
