Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

The County Board, Clinton School and Clinton City Council on the tentative schedule of meetings. (links to agendas where available)

The Clinton County Board of Supervisors will be meeting today (Monday) in their regular business session.  That starts at 9:15 at the County Administrator Center.

Among the items on the agenda is an update on domestic violence from the agency providing services in the County.

The Clinton City Capital Improvement Committee is meeting this afternoon (Monday).  That committee provides the city council with a suggested priority for various capital projects.


 

The Clinton School Board meets in a regular Committee Of The Whole session later today (Monday).  The school board meets at their regular meeting time of 5:30 at the school’s Administration Center.

The board will hear a presentation on the district’s mentoring program.

The board will also consider a couple of business items.  The district is proposing to purchase a couple of properties near the high school grounds.

The Fulton City Council has a special meeting tonight at 5:30.

The meeting is for an executive session to discuss personnel.  No other details are included in the agenda and no action is proposed after the executive session.

The Clinton City Council has a regular business session and a discussion session on Tuesday.

Among the actions for the council is a proposed closed session to discuss proposed litigation.

During the Committee Of The Whole the council is schedule to hear a regular update from the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and continue the discussion of how to handle vacant and abandoned building.

The council meeting will start at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening at City Hall.
