The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning business session.  The Supervisors meet at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Clinton City Council meets this afternoon (Monday) in what is their final scheduled meeting for working on the budget for the next fiscal year.

The council will review the final segments of the budget and an overall review.

The session is at 3 o’clock at city hall.

The Clinton City Council has their first Tuesday of the month Committee Of The Whole session Tuesday evening.

Newly appointed Seth Odor will take the oath of the office to formally take office.  He was chosen to fill an at-large seat vacancy on the council created with the resignation of Tom Determann who was elected to the County Board.   Citizens could still petition for a special election.

Among the items for the meeting is an update o the Mississippi River Parkway Commission.

The Fulton City Council meets in a regular session on Monday at 5:30.

The Camanche City Council meets on Tuesday evening.  New Police Chief Colin Reid will be sworn in at the meeting.  Reid was chosen as the new chief at a meeting last week.  He will be leaving his job as a Clinton Police Officer.

The Camanche Council will consider an agreement with the Camanche Police, Fire, Public Works and Utility Billing  bargaining unit for the next two years.


The Northeast School Board will meet Wednesday February 8th in a special session.  The board will discuss the budget and consider approval of an early retirement plan.
