Tentative Schedule Of Governmental Meetings This week

The Clinton County and Clinton City Council among the meetings this week.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning meeting.  The Supervisors start at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The next couple of County Board meetings will be on Wednesday with those meetings on February 22 and March 1st.


 

The Clinton School Board meets in a regular business session Monday evening.  That session will be at the Administrative Center at 5:30.

The board will handle routine items and reports.

There are two closed session planned – but no action is proposed following the sessions.

The first session is to discuss negotiations and the second is to discuss the sale or purchase of real estate.

The Riverbend School Board is meeting tonight (Monday) at 6:30 at the Riverbend District Office in Fulton, Illinois

The Central DeWitt School Board meets on Monday at 6 P-M.

The Clinton City Council has a business session and a discussion session on Tuesday.

A public hearing date for the city budget will be set during the business meeting.

During the Committee Of The Whole session the council hear a request from a citizen’s group to re-instate the Animal Control Officer Position.  The job was eliminated in a budget change.

The council will also hear about a plan to repair the waterfall feature at Eagle Point Park.

The council will start the business session at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening with the COW to follow.


 

On Wednesday evening the Northeast School Board will be meeting at 6 o’clock at the Northeast Elementary Library.
