Also on the agenda is an agreement with a consultant to develop a ‘request for proposal’ for solid waste collection and recycling.

During the Committee Of The Whole session the council will consider ideas and proposal for extending 14th Avenue NorthWest to meet with the School District’s entrance to the new Middle School.  The entry was constructed to city street standards by the school district with the expectation the city would accept the road for the extension.  But, at that time the city rejected the plan when the entry was completed.  Now City Engineer Jason Craft says it may be prudent for the city to accept that street so 14th Avenue NorthWest could be extended through that area for development.
