Charges filed in Monday Shooting Investigation

One person is charged in connection to a shooting incident in Clinton this morning (Monday)

Clinton Police were called to 266 18th Place shortly after 5 o’clock this morning to a report of a man being shot.  Upon arrival the officers found 19 year old Murray Henricks inside the residence and he had a single shotgun wound.

The victim, with non-life threatening injuries was transported by the Clinton Fire Department ambulance crews to the Mercy Hospital for treatment.

Following the investigation charges were filed against 23 year old Cody Olson.  He has been charged with Willful injury and Going Armed With Intent.
