Clinton Police are investigating a shooting incident occurring Tuesday evening and one suspect has been charged.
A statement from the C-P-D – reports officers were dispatched to 419 7th Avenue North to a report of man being shot.
Officers found a 32 year old male victim in the backyard at that address with gunshot wounds to both legs.
His identity has not been released. He was taken to the Mercy Hospital for treatment of what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the initial investigation, Clinton Police report that 30 year old Micheal Edwards was charged with Robbery in the First Degree.
