Clinton High School is ranked 16th within Iowa in new report

U.S. NEWS AND WORLD REPORT has recognized Clinton High School as one of the Best  high schools in Iowa and the United States.  Links to full details included.

This is the 4th year in a row CHS has attained this the Bronze Medal honor.  In the report the school is ranked as the 16th best high school in Iowa.

Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college.

CHS JR Kuch says the honor is nice but also shows room for improvement.  He says “it’s pretty awesome for our staff, kids and community.”  Kuch says it’s nice to be recognized for the hard of the staff and students.  But, he says, there are areas for improvements.

Kuch said the staff and students like to hear about winning awards.  He adds it’s “like winning a state championship and everyone likes to celebrate a championship in sports or fine arts” and this is something else to get behind.

Northeast also was recognized with the Bronze Medal Award.
