Tentative Schedule Of Governmental Meetings This Week

The Clinton County Board plus the Camanche, Riverbend and Riverbend School Boards and the Fulton and Camanche City Councils to meet this week.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning business session.

Security will be the topic for a couple of issues.  One involves the security at the Satellite Office in DeWitt.  The other involves the impact of the new gun law adopted by the legislature on Courthouse security.

The meeting starts at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Camanche School Board meets on Monday in a regular session.

The Board will consider approval of the band’s trip to Florida.

The meeting is at 7:30 at the Administration Center in Camanche.

The Fulton City Council meets on Monday – May 15th – in a regular session.

The Council will confirm Paul Banker as the 4th Ward Alderman and Keith King as the 3rd Ward Alderman.

The Fulton Council had earlier decided to raise the water and sewer rates two percent and will consider the formal process for that approval.

The council will move forward with a plan to seek bids for the demolition of the Drives Building and at the same time seek bids for engineering for a complete renovation.

The Riverbend School Board will be meeting Monday at 6:30 at the District Office in Fulton.

The Camanche City Council meets Tuesday – May 16th – in a regular session.

The council is scheduled to discuss sewer rates as part of the agenda.

The DeWitt Central School Board is scheduled to meet Wednesday.

The meeting is at 6 P-M at the Middle School Media Center.

On the agenda is a discussion with the city about Homecoming concerns.
