That reception will be at 4 o’clock with a formal presentation by the board at 4:30. The community is invited to the event at the Administration Building.

The Clinton City Council meets on Tuesday.

Among the items for consideration could be quick action concerning fireworks.

After the agenda was issued – it was amended to show the potential of approving all three readings of a proposed ordinance related to the use of fireworks.  New Iowa law permits the sale and use of fireworks in the state – with the ability to set further local rules.
