Hot enough for you?

With a heat wave underway and temperatures predicted to be in the 90’s – what would it take to be a local record high?

For June 13th the record high is 99 set in 1897.

The record high for the 14th – Wednesday – is 100 also set in 1897 and Blaess reports the record high for the 15th – Thursday is 97 also set in 1897.  On Friday the 16th  the record high in Clinton is 98 set in 1913 and tied in 1918 and for the 17th or Saturday the record high is 100 set in 1897.

Blaess also pointed out that the last significant rain was on May 26th with about 4-tenths of an inch of rain.
