How much rain

The Thursday night-Friday overnight rain totaled about ‘about a quarter of an inch’ (.23 inches) for Clinton Area Weather Observer Jim Blaess.

He says the amount of rain varied by location.

The weather observer added that rain on Wednesday evening total about a tenth of an inch (.11 inches).

The total for this month is now about a third of an inch (.34)- which Blaess says compares to the normal rainfall for this month of 4.6 inches.

The last significant rain was May 26th.
