The Clinton City Council meets on Tuesday evening.

among the items on the agenda is the consideration of a final passage of an increase in compensation for the mayor and council members.  there measures had been approved at two earlier meetings – but at the last meeting the measures were tied on 3 to 3 votes and some council members wanted to move the issues back the discussion session for further review and those efforts also tied.

The tie vote automatically forwarded the items to the next business meeting.
