Tentative schedule of governmental meetings

It is a short work week due the holiday, but there are a few governmental meetings during the week.

The Clinton County Board has a first work day of the year meeting today (Tuesday).

The Supervisors will meet at 9:15 Tuesday morning at the County Administration Building.

Among the items for consideration is a public hearing on a proposed agreement for the development of the former Ashford campus.  The deal would provide some property tax rebate for the development of the site as a foreign school.  The city of Clinton has approved a similar deal.

The Camanche City Council meets tonight (Tuesday).  The regular meeting is at

6 o’clock Tuesday evening at the Camanche City Hall.

On Friday the Clinton Hometown Pride Committee will be meeting.  That is a part of county-wide effort for all communities to participate in individual projects for their community.

The Clinton committee will meet at 10 o’clock Friday morning at the Clinton City Hall.

A grant program backed with local contributions has hired a general ‘coach’ to work with all of the communities.
