The new Engine 59 replaces a 20 year old ladder truck and Brown says it provides many advantages.  A longer ladder and better technology are just of the couple of those advantages the Fire Chief pointed out.

Brown says there is still equipment to install and training with the new engine before putting it into service.  He expects to put the new truck into service in late August.

The old truck will be sold and Brown says there has already been some interest expressed by other communities.
