The Camanche School Board has a special meeting on Wednesday for the proposed budget for the district.  Superintendent Tom Parker says the levy for the budget is about two-dollars lower than the current tax levy.  He says the increasing value of property in the district was a big part of the decline.

Parker says the staffing plan includes two less positions.

In other notes from the Camanche School District- the board recently approved a moving ahead with a plan to look at facility updates.  A committee will be taking with various firms to help identify priority projects and costs.
