Be prepared for some detours and delays with street repairs getting started-here’s the list of projects starting within the next few days.

Due to sanitary sewer improvements, the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and South 8th Street will be completely closed beginning Monday, April 8, 2019. Please use caution when traveling through the construction area.
Work on the City parking lot, located on South 3rd Street across from City Hall (611 South 3rd Street) will begin on Monday, April 8, 2019. The contractor will begin work on the south half of the parking lot; this should be completed in 1 month (weather dependent).
Due to railroad crossing repairs, South 54th Street, from 44th Avenue South to County Road P21 will be closed on Sunday, April 7, 2019, from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. Traffic will be detoured to County Road Z36.
This road will be closed to all through traffic. Only local traffic will be permitted.

Due to Union Pacific Railroad work, the crossing at 44th Avenue South (east of Low Moor) will be closed on Monday, April 8, 2019, from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. No traffic will be able to use this crossing.
Due to this work, 44th Avenue South will be closed to through traffic from South 54th Street to the 4-way stop in Low Moor during this time frame. Through traffic will need to use alternate routes.
