Holocaust Survivor Has A Story To Tell

Holocaust Survivor Dirk Van Leenen has a personal connection to the Dutch resistance to the Nazis in World War Two.

He says the fight of the Dutch people never stopped because the Dutch people are very stubborn,

Van Leenen was born in 1940 and was  young at the time-but understood what was going on in the early and mid-1940’s.

Van Leenen moved from Holland to the U-S in 1989.  He says he told the Hollocuast stories to his children and grandchildren and they convinced  him to write a book-which he did.  He has written three books about the resistance.

Dirk Van Leenen was a speaker at the recent Dutch Days in Fulton.
