With a drop in those considered unemployed the unemployment rate drop in Clinton and Clinton County.
The latest figures from the Workforce Development Agency show an unemployment rate for Clinton County in April at 2.7 percent. That’s down from 3.4 percent in March and 3-percent from a year ago.
In Clinton the unemployment rate dropped from 3.2 percent in March to 2.9 percent in April.
