Two Tours Of the Lincoln Highway Pass Through Clinton

Over the next few weeks there will be a couple of groups passing thru Clinton and Clinton County on tours using the Lincoln Highway. The highway Lincoln Highway was established in the early 1900’s as a route from New York to San Francisco.  The route is now designated a historic byway.  The route generally runs along the Highway 30 corridor.  One tour will be restored military vehicles and the other will consist mainly of classic cars.  Hear more about the tours in this conversation with Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway Coordinator Jan Gammons and the links below.

It is mounted on our Advance vehicle. This vehicle is usually 15 to 20 minutes out in front of the convoy. If it is stopped, that is the location our next stopping point. The convoy may be delayed and not reach the tracker location for some time, but we will get there.)
