Official statement from Clinton County Sheriff’s Office on incident in Goose Lake Thursday
On Thursday, October 24, 2019 around 2:10 PM deputies from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and
members of our Gateway Area Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant at 1471 370th
Avenue Apt. #106, Goose Lake Iowa.
Due to the nature of the search warrant and to the proximately of Northeast High School, deputies
requested schools officials to go on lock down. Shortly before 3 PM, once the apartment was secured
Northeast School officials were notified that it was safe to reopen.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Gateway Area SRT Team, Clinton Police and Clinton Fire Department.
The incident remains under investigation.
