Local unemployment rates dropped from August to September.
Figures from the Iowa Workforce Development Agency show the unemployment rate in Clinton County was 3.5% in September compared to 4% in August. In September 2018 the county unemployment rate was 1.8%
In Clinton the rate dropped from 4.7% in August to 4.2% in September.
