Bank Robbery Suspect Located Within Minutes Of The Report And Within A Few Blocks Of The Site Of The Bank

Clinton Police quickly located a bank robbery suspect in the downtown area.

At 3:40 Thursday afternoon the Department received the report of a robbery at the Clinton National Bank at 235 6th Avenue South.

Police were told the suspect entered the bank and demanded money was left the bank with a known amount of money.  Police had a description of the suspect.

Five minutes after receiving the report Clinton Police located a person matching the descriptioin at 6th Avenue South and 4th Street and took the person into custody.

57 year old Raymond John Reves of Clinton has been charged with Robbery In The First Degree and is being held in the Clinton County Jail.
