Governmental Meetings This Week

With the Veteran’s Day Holiday today (Monday) the Clinton County Board will be meeting on Wednesday this week instead of the usual Monday session.  The time remains at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

An update on the Law Enforcement Center building project is one of the items on the agenda.

The Clinton School Board is meeting Monday in a regular session.  The meeting will be at 5:30 at the School’s Administrative Office.

The session will include the ‘re-organization’ of the board after the election of members earlier this month.  Elected members will be sworn in and a president of the board will be chosen by the members.

The Fulton, Illinois City Council is meeting Monday in their business session and discussion session.

During the Committee Of The Whole Session the council will consider updating the city rules to prohibit the establishment of a business selling recreational cannabis.

The Clinton City Council will be meeting in a regular meeting and discussion session on Tuesday at 5 pm.

During the Committee Of The Whole Session the council will consider taking over the management of the Springdale Cemetery and working with the Clinton Lawn Cemetery in operating the facility.

The Central DeWitt School Board will be meeting on Wednesday in a regular session.

The meeting will be at 6 pm at the Administration Center.

The Riverbend School Board has a special meeting on Thursday evening at 7 o’clock.

The session is for discussion of ‘competency based education.’
