Primary Election Absentee Voting Begins at Clinton County Auditor’s Office

Clinton County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Eric Van Lancker has announced that absentee ballots for the June 3, 2014, Primary Election are available for voting in the Clinton County Auditor’s Office on Thursday, April 24.

Absentee ballots may be voted in the Clinton County Auditor’s Office at the Clinton County Administration Building, 1900 N. 3rd St., Clinton, IA, during regular office hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through June 2.

Absentee ballots must be requested in writing. Forms are available at the Auditor’s Office, on the Clinton County Web site at www.clintoncounty-ia.gov and at the Iowa Secretary of State’s Web site at www.sos.iowa.gov. Ballots requested through the mail must be returned and postmarked by midnight, June 2.

All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received by the Auditor’s Office by 5 p.m., May 30.
