Governmental Meetings This Week

Meetings this week include the Clinton County Board, Clinton School Board, Fulton City Council and Clinton City Council.

The Clinton County Board has the regular session on Monday morning.  The Supervisors meet at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Clinton School Board meets today in a Committee Of The Whole Session.  The board will consider a business item during the session with the sale of the Lyons Middle School Property.

A developer has proposed to develop the building into a commercial and retail location with some residential apartments on the upper floor and use the property for a 25 unit housing development.  The developer will pay the district 5-thousand dollars cash and 25-thousand dollars for a scholarship fund for students.

The session is at 5:30 at the district’s Administration Center.

The Fulton City Council meets Monday.

The business meeting will start at 5:30 with a discussion session after the business meeting.

The Clinton City Council will be meeting Tuesday.

The council will hold a business session and then a Committee Of The Whole Session followed by a session to interview applicants for the vacant Third Council seat.

The council will consider the formal appointment at a special session following the budget session on Thursday this week.

The Council will also be meeting Thursday afternoon in a budget session.
