Morrison Takes Control of Future Development – Chamber Submits Video for HGTV Contest

(official statement from the Morrison Chamber):   The Morrison Chamber of Commerce has entered HGTV’s “Home Town Takeover” Contest.

The volunteers had less than a week to put video together a video that might catch the producer’s eye. “We entered because we think it could be a great opportunity for our community,” said LeAnn Schaefer, Executive Director of the Chamber, “Morrison has a lot of talented people who want to make things happen. This is another way to get Morrison on the map and we’d love to have The Napier’s talents focused on some of our projects.”

According to HGTV, Ben and Erin Napier are looking for towns that could use a “home town touch.” The selected town “will witness the rehab of multiple individual family homes and the revitalization of public spaces, such as parks, local diners, and recreation centers.”
