While appreciating the support-MercyOne says they are not accepting the hand-sewn masks

Efforts to create hand sewn masks for medical workers is being promoted via Social Media-but a spokesman at Clinton’s MercyOne Hospital says they appreciate the support those masks are not being accepted at this time.

Julie Dunn wanted to thank people for taking the time and material for making the masks.

Dunn said MercyOne is accepting the traditionally manufactured Personal Protective Equipment.

Dunn said if you do have a donation for the hospital they have a special donation telephone line to call…

Dunn said again they appreciate the support for the hospital and the first responders and emergency workers and knows with everyone working together the community can handle the COVID 19 outbreak.
