Clinton Police Officers will get a 2-point-35 percent pay increase instead of the two percent offered by the city.  Read more about the award and a link to the ruling.

Both sides agreed to other contract factors including the employees contributing to the cost of health insurance, but could not agree on wages.
An arbitration hearing was held earlier this month as side presented its case. The cost difference between the final offers was between 7 and 8 thousand dollars.
After hearing the arguments the arbitrator ruled in favor of the Police Department Bargaining Unit and awarded the 2-point-35 percent wage increase for the contract effective July 1st 2014 to June 30th 2015
