The City of Clinton has contracted with Determan Asphalt to conduct Large Item Pickup for 2014. Large Item Pickup will begin Monday, December 1st – set items out Sunday night – November 30th. Read the official statement on the program.
• Items taken are: furniture, carpeting, large toys (dismantled swing sets, swim pools, bikes); household building & remodeling materials (doors, windows, cabinets, lumber, pieces or sections not to exceed 4’x 8’).
• Items NOT taken are: concrete rubble, computer monitors, computer towers, copiers, printers, televisions, roofing materials, appliances or tires.
• Only items that will NOT fit into a City of Clinton Solid Waste cart will be taken as large items. If an item can fit into the 95 gallon Solid Waste cart, place it in the cart for disposal.
• Large items are not to exceed one small pickup load per home.
