Snow & cold weather

Saturday’s one-point-four inches of snow was the season’s first measurable snowfall. Clinton area weather observer Jim Blaess says the normal snowfall in November is one-and-a-half inches.

The weather observer said the temperature dropped below freezing last Wednesday and the temperature hasn’t been above freezing since that time.

Last year-on this date-Blaess said the temperature reached 71 degrees and there was a tornado watch.
